Open all-year round, Lac de Maison is the perfect place for your relaxing family holiday in France.
Tucked away in the picturesque countryside in the Poitou-Charentes region, we have three charming French holiday homes all with access to our
10m x 5m heated swimming pool.
Surrounded by nature and excellent amenities, you can leave your busy world behind in this secluded, three-acre French family holiday complex.
You'll find that there's plenty to keep your children busy so that you are free to relax and unwind.
Because, here at Lac de Maison, we know that happy children equal happy parents!
Outdoors we have a football field, badmington net, climbing frames, table tennis, a boules court, free-to-use bikes for exploring the area together and the gated and pin-code protected pool... there are also three goats (Megan, Rosie and Peggy) who all love a bit of fuss... oh, and let's not forget the chickens that lay eggs for breakfast... so if your little chickens want to grab a basket and help with the egg collections, the only question is, 'fried, boiled or scrambled?'
All this means you can focus on the more exciting details of your French family holiday, like which cheese and wine to try first!

Lac de Maison offers guests three pretty, practical French holiday homes to rent that cater to families and groups of all sizes.
You can also book the small and large gites together for bigger groups or even all three together for even larger get-togethers of up to 20 people!

Story
From our 9 to 5s in Manchester to a life less ordinary in France!
If you've seen our progress on Channel 4's Help! We've Bought a Village, you'll know some of our story so far, but during the Covid lockdown, we realised that we were on a treadmill that was stopping us from spending time together as a family. So there and then, we decided to follow our dream and move to rural France and lead a simpler life of no bosses, no traffic jams and no regrets.
Its been a rollercoaster, but we're so happy to be here to make happy holidays for families from the UK, France and all over Europe!
